Widely Needed! --The Compressed Air System Becomes A Necessity
Welcome to Nanxiang “Compressor Academy”. As the compressed air is widely applied, compressed air system has become a necessity in more and more industries. This article shows the needs of the compressed air systems in different industries.
Power Industry
Main applications: The compressed air systems for meters, dust removal and industrial miscellaneous. The water treatment includes boiler supply water treatment and industrial wastewater treatment systems. There will also be compressed air systems for equipment power in hydropower stations.
Textile Industry
Main applications: The cotton spinning industry mainly uses the clean compressed air as the power source, which requires high demand to the oil content; the chemical fiber industry mainly uses the meter air and the suction gun air, the printing and the dyeing mainly uses power and meters.
Light Industry
● Food and beverage: It can be divided into non-contact, indirect contact and direct contact with air. The air source can be supplied by the scroll compressor, such as cleaning of cans and beverage bottles; direct contact like raw material stirring and fermentation, which require high demand to the oil content and the compressed air needs to be deodorized.
● Pharmaceutical industry: non-contact is mainly used for power execution and meters. Direct contact is generally the centrifugal type beacuse of its large and steady air consumption. High air quality is required at the same time; if the air volume isn’t that large, then a vortex machine can be chose and add a post processor, or choose an oil-free screw.
● Cigarette industry: The compressed air is a main source of power except electricity. It is generally applied in the wire injection machine, cigarette rolls, connection and packaging equipment, and also used for meters, power execution and equipment cleaning.
● Rubber and plastic products: Mainly applied in power execution, meters, plastics are also applied in blowing bottles.
Metallurgical Industry
Metallurgical industry is divided into steel industry and non-ferrous metal smelting and manufacturing.
1. Iron and steel industry: Mainly power execution, meters, purging, etc.
2. Non-ferrous metal smelting and manufacturing: Mainly applied in power execution, meters and spraying.
